Creating beautiful cards manufactured responsibly

Producing Christmas cards responsibly needs care and thought.We use two boards to give choice in the look and feel of our cards. The majority of our board is coated and is produced in the Lake District, delivered direct to the warehouse next to the pressroom, reducing transport and costs. The feltboard is made in the EU and is unique in its’ whiteness and feel. All boards, envelopes and backing slips are FSC certified, giving a chain of custody from the forest to the shop... because forests matter.

In our print production we use thermal printing plates, eliminating the need for any chemicals. Inks are vegetable based, solvent free. The use of harmful isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is eradicated eliminating the main source of harmful VOC emissions. Gloss aqueous varnish is used, which is fully bio degradable and less damaging to the environment than a UV gloss varnish, which is not bio degradable.

We deliver our cards in cartons made of 100% recycled board and we ask that you recycle these again after use.
